Hell-o, people. I've been a Warcraft fan since the very first game (the one from 1994) and a huge nerd for game lore. I got into WoW a bit late, though - around 2010 or so. So I started playing in Cataclysm. Some time later, however, I got to try WotLK on a private server and found out that I enjoy it so much more than Cata... so I quickly became a fan of the older expansions, as they have a lot more soul in them, and are generally more faithful to the lore and spirit of Warcraft I, II and III. Besides, the newer expansions feel way too easy to play and questing has become way too curated. Where's the fun in that? I prefer to explore and discover things on my own, or undertake an epic quest chain that sends me to a different continent to hunt down some obscure trinket.
As a player, I like to take my time and do things a bit slowly, enjoy the scenery, explore the world and so forth... I play periodically, so it's not unusual for me to disappear for months (or a whole year) and then return and continue like nothing happened. I am a little obsessive about little details, so don't be surprised if I start checking if city guards properly respond to my /salutes
Anyway, I haven't started playing yet, but will very soon (once I finish up a few other things that are bogging me down). I've played both factions in the past... but my heart always pulls me towards the Horde, so this is where I'll belong.
See you soon.
