I use rivatunerstats to lock the framerate. if you turn on v-sync and tripple buffer it might lock the fps to your hz but i experienced massive performance drops doing this so i suggest you download riva and lock the fps through that instead.

I do find myself getting moderately annoyed when a server caters to a niche explicitly (No addons, 1x,etc) and most feedback you get is how it shouldnt be these things. Theres plenty of servers that cater to the people who just want to play endgame with addons but theres ONLY ONE that's letting people play the game in this specific way.
