@xunrae so you're response is basically, there are other bad designs so you should be okay with it? So we should be able to nerf prot warriors into the ground until tier 6 and just be okay with because hey, boomkins aren't viable in most content either?

@xunrae You can't say it all evens out at the END OF THE GAME and expect it to be okay. Who plays an awful game for months just to have a medicore ending? That is horrible game design.

If a feral druid doesn't work towards S1 Chest, Helm, and Shoulders and toward honor items like belt and bracers, why bring him? The items are literally 2 tiers better than you can get. You know the sad thing? This isn't news. You are pretty forced to grab the pvp pieces for armor, stam, and str values, while getting the larger agi blues filling in around. Just like casters and healers need to craft tailoring gear, feral druids need to farm honor and arenas gear. This isn't going to be an option on Felmyst for any druid that wants to actually play their class to the best it can be or any player that has enough respect for himself not to play below his potential. Do I think this is idiotic? Immensely. However, nobody should ever take a feral druid who decides to just use heroic blues and tier 4 instead because they don't want to "conform". Telling people that they don't "have" to get the arena and honor gear is ridiculous. You would literally be making the game more tedious for your entire raid and crippling them to mediocrity.

I actually like this idea a lot. Prevents world chat, which I hate, and allows guild channels. Perfect solution.

Though I DO love this change as I hate /world being a thing, I think it will be pointless in the long run. The community will simply make global discord channels for world, lfg, etc. For raids, a good portion of gamers have multiple monitors now in order to have separate channels for organization (ie. healers, tanks, dps) All this change will do is make it a bit more tedious, and I don't really entirely see the point.

It depends if you want to be a min/maxer or not. If you desire to min/max, feral is an awful choice atm due to 2.0 gear and 2.4 talents. If you you only care about your gameplay and don't care much for raid optimization then yes, feral is INFINITELY more rewarding and enjoyable than spamming fireball and scorch.
