Posted June 22 I have exciting news about Skullcrusher, our new TBC server launching on July 21st. Skullcrusher aims to replicate the intended gameplay experience of World of Warcraft by addressing and fixing exploits and flaws that exist on other servers, including Blizzard ones. Our advanced Felmyst Engine ensures unexploitable gameplay, providing a consistent and challenging experience without altering the core design of the game. Unique features include robust enemy movement and improved mechanics to balance gameplay. In addition, Skullcrusher offers an authentic and unique World of Warcraft experience due to our decision to ban addons. We're excited about the launch and have prepared thoroughly for a smooth experience. Visit our forums for more details and support. Thank you for your enthusiasm, and see you in-game! 11 Share this post Link to post
Posted June 22 Smart move going over and making it clear the difference between intended gameplay and actuality on Blizzard’s behalf. We’re hoping you guys can bring in a good amount of players and get some advertisement and marketing out like other realms do since we still have some time from launch. cheers! 1 Share this post Link to post
Posted June 22 Thanks for the video and update Fanadin, I am excited to play. I would like to add that I don't believe anyone was under the impression that there are NO raid frames, just that the default frames give such little info with little to no customization that raiders in 2007 often opted to use raid frames addons. Thanks again for all the hard work and dedication, looking forward to gaming! 4 Share this post Link to post

Posted June 23 Good shit. I was especially interested in your comments on AoE caps. Is this something that has been changed from previous Felmyst projects? You reference raids specifically, but on Felmyst 2 there were raid encounters where AE classes were being out paced by a considerable margin. 0 Share this post Link to post
Posted June 25 (edited) I was just hoping for a little clarification on the lifespan on Skullcrusher. The initial announcement states that Skullcrusher will be "a permanent realm. no more seasons" however, on the updated FAQ it states "Skullcrusher (Felmyst 4) will be kept online indefinitely, though it is a seasonal realm lasting one year". My assumption is the seasonal part of the FAQ is a remnant of Felmyst 3, but I just wanted to make sure. If this is the case, go ahead and delete my post. Posted June 25 Fanadin said that he will be updating the FAQ before launch. That said, Skullcrusher will not be seasonal. It's a forever realm. The other realms will be kept online but detached from our main branch with closed registration. From what I understand, we'll be focusing entirely on Skullcrusher indefinitely. 6 Share this post Link to post
Posted June 25 I'll play if it means I get FRESH! Bold move with the "no addons" thing, not sure I like it, but still I can see why. 0 Share this post Link to post
