Question regarding obtaining drops for classes from Strat/Scholo, etc

Hello, this is probably offtopic but dont wanna create new topic for every question :D. Regarding vanilla content in FAQ you said dungeon till ST are good, raids closed, what about lategame dungeons like Strat, Scholo, BRS, as there are some important drops for certain classes like D2 for rogues, druid idol, also epic mount quests etc.?

You’ll have to make do without those things, it’s purely a TBC server. Maybe we’ll see a gummy vanilla project someday.
EDIT: the epic mounts are trainable for those classes, I think it costs 100g

Yeah, Paladin and Warlock mounts were put on the trainer at the end of TBC going in WOTLK, and then the quests were removed completely from the game at some point later. So I am guessing that's what they are doing here.

Some of the min-max stuff I suppose we just go without. The difference in DPS with or without these niche items is usually negligible and only matters if you're chasing numbers on the DPS / Healing meter which isn't possible anyway.

Yeah, but for example - firey weapon is really fun for low lvl pvp twinks and it drops form Pyromancer Loregrain in BRD.

So in my opinion, the OP's question is legitimate.

This is something we could easily add to be obtainable elsewhere.

For example, yeah. Quite a lot of stuff if one actually starts looking into it. Fiery was good for leveling enchanting, too.

3 weapon enchantment recipes through Thorium rep from the rep vendor in Grim Guzzler (15str, 20spirit, 22int?), Two alchemy transmutes from there too, one from the vendor, one from the barkeeper: Heart of flame -> 3 elemental fires, and essence of fire -> essence of earth. XL jumper cables, repair bot 74A. Lifestealing weapon ench from Scholo, Run Tumm Tubers for easy cooking 275->300 from Dire Maul, stuff for the librams (head/leg) enchants, major recombobulator for feeding mana to party members. Greater fire protection potion from Blackrock Spire (don't think it's a trainer recipe), and black diamond crab for JC?

Not sure if you can obtain righteous orbs outside of strat, maybe some elite scarlet npcs in plague lands drop those, but it is generally strat living where you get them from? Those are needed for crusader, and two healing power enchants, iirc.

Basically, a bunch of stuff that might not matter deep into tbc content, but is fun for it to be available someway somehow and could be useful for pushing through some bottlenecks in professions through the 275 to 325 range or just for powering up lower level alts.

The main reasons I think I've seen given for why 52-60 instance content is off limits is the ease of generating money through aoe farming there, not providing safe leveling areas(?) on a pvp realm -> more people in open world pvp zones, and items that are better than what tbc content gives... some rogue trinket was mentioned I believe, and because it is not the intended focus of the realm for people to run those instances when they could be going to outlands already, shrug. I can see how it is much easier and less work to just close those instance portals for now, potentially open to revisit later when there is free time and resources to brainstorm it more thoroughly.

We will be adding some of these otherwise unobtainable enchants.

Is it possible to start some list and discussion, where people could also submit stuff, to be added in some other way, for consideration?

If you have ideas you can post them here assuming they're related to the original post.

If not related then please make a new post about it in general discussion.

Ok, I will speak for myself only and only mention item I would normally 100% get, because it is obtainable solo and used for a long time - Idol of brutality.

https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=23198/idol-of-brutality

I do not know how you are planning to add these items but I guess buying them for gold should work fine.

Looked up Icecap herbs and what they're used for. Major mana potion recipe came up, looked at it closer, drops from Scholo, or bought from a vendor in Scholo who needs the Scholo equipped trinket to manifest. So that recipe should be ungettable right now, maybe? The scholo vendors had some other recipes, not sure if the weapon recipes are part of the trainer list now, they definitely were in WotLK, though. There was a Storm Gauntlets recipe sold there, too, but it looks like it might be a rare world drop as well.

The scholo vendor I speak of: Magnus Frostwake

Living action potion recipe is vendor bought at exalted with Zandalar Tribe, so Zul'Gurub related, probably.

I think they learn that rank of water from the trainer in TBC.
