Posted July 18 (edited) Hi everyone! When i saw this server a week ago i got really excited, but one thing seemed to be missing... The thing that i love about the World of Warcraft most is the warm community during the journey to max level and the hardest raid bosses. The collaboration, working together as a team during dungeon grinding, but also aiding each other with our unique skills and professions This is something you can't achieve alone and a place like this seemed to be missing for the EU playerbase. This is why, after some discussion with other's feeling the same, i've decided to start a guild called 'On a Journey'. My vision for this guild is that we work together as one organism, everybody is worth the same. The focus lies on enjoying the journey. Since alot of us have other things to do in life other then WoW, we will decide 1 or multiple raid times that fits most people. A comment that was made that opened my eyes was 'I don't want raiding to f* up my sleeping schedule', and i strongly agree. Playing this game should be an addition to life, a win-win where we don't have to give in on our other dreams/goals and family/friends. I would also like to make clear that we are not a min-max guild. Feel free to min-max your character and we'll prob have to make some rules for attending raids, but know that we play this game for fun and that's what's so great about TBC. Some specs/roles may be alot stronger then others, all are viable. I invite you to play whatever you enjoy most and we'll make sure to get it to work. It's about the journey, not about the result! Posted July 18 All that sounds good to me I'm NA but I feel the sleep schedule comment, I want to raid earlier, last time I was playing on Everlook (before the cash shop) I raided 8pm-midnight est and it killed me. Posted July 21 (edited) Wth, i'm sorry to see this. I was at a festival yesterday the whole day and now i see the Discord is gone. I'm the creater and don't know how this can happen when i wasn't there. I had one moderator with i think full permission? I don't have any new messages either on Discord or on this forum, i'd love to know how a Discord can shut down without doing anything. Any1 has any info on this? This guild is still happening for sure! With our without Disc! Edit: Very weird, the one guy that has moderator status his account seems gone on Disc, i can't sent him a private msg or add him as friends. My RL doesn't know anything about this, so after some thought i kinda feel like it has to be the moderator that i might have given to much permission? I'm not big on Discord knowledge so i was glad someone could create some channels, etc. I can create a new Discord yeah! But kinda want to have whatever happened 'fixed', not sure how tho but atleast have some insight of what happened, to not have it happen again. 0 Share this post Link to post
Posted July 21 Yeah I think so too that it was that guy somehow. Unless you've got some mail or something from Discord that they themselves nuked the server for whatever reason it really can't be anything else. Brain error -.- went in one side out the other, didnt get it lulw: really thought it was something... wrong route: bad luck lulw, got it now though.. I was sceptical, id admit but well ... you were right... weird how characters sometimes randomly disapear while filming/gaming... also got a weird error while unpacking client, idk... Posted September 12 (edited) We continue to recruit on the alliance side and raiding 3 times a week. Monday, Tuesday and Saturday at 14:00 server time. My group runs on Tuesdays right after raid IDs reset, and the Saturday group runs a separate Karazhan for the people who cannot make it on Tuesday. It is also good because on the weekend we get to merge some EU and US people in a single raid. On Monday the Tuesdey group is doing Nightbane tries. The plans are to continue to raid Kara for a few more weeks as people gear up, get a mage tank with stamina gear ready and try to do Grull. Just play something you will enjoy, because the worse thing is to have people who don't stick around because they don't enjoy their character. Posted October 1 If all goes according to plan, we will be raiding HKM and Gruul next Monday, October 7th. We have several people who are 65+ coming up! I have personally helped them with Ring of Blood this morning, and I am happy we have a decent influx of people who are actively playing and working on their mains! We continue to run dungeons daily and help each-other. We use our guild bank to give people items and trade consumables as needed. The community remains together!
